Information about the scholarship
​
Project Quipu is offering a fully-paid scholarship exclusively to one AISES member to attend the Gaming Innovation Class at UNLV's Center for Gaming Innovation for the 2024 Fall semester.
​
This 16-week course is led by Dr. Dan Sahl who earned his Ph.D. by researching the convergence of video games and gambling, the class offers a unique learning environment for students from both the campus and the community/industry to develop game ideas.
​
The class can be attended both in-person at UNLV's Stan Fulton Building, located at 4505 S Maryland Parkway, Las Vegas, NV, or remotely via video conferencing technology.
​
Classes will be taught in English and held on Wednesday evenings from 5:30pm to 8:10pm Pacific Time, beginning the last week of August and conclude on the first week of December.

This scholarship is open to anyone fulfilling the following criteria:

person of Indigenous heritage recognized in the US & Canada
-
current member of AISES
-
possessing a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in experience

able to attend the class
-
agree to the terms and conditions of the scholarship

Applications will be accepted from March 15, 2024 till April 30, 2024.
